Dunno what kind of response you've gotten to date, but might I suggest a few more details:
- Who would retain (c) to the images?
- You seem to be offering mostly "exchange" (unpaid work, for link-and-credit). For someone "just breaking in" that may be OK, but if you could offer even a trivial payment -- say, $5 per photo -- wannabe-pro's could list your site as a *paid* gig of theirs, for a HUGE bump-up in commercial credibility.
- Do you seek any rights beyond the specific 1-time/online use in your blog?
- What /sort/ of "blog type" articles do you write?
- What sort of photos do you want?
- Do you need "topical" photos? Per-article specific (documentary) photos?
- Do you need a "local" photographer (face-to-face meetings viable), or is all-internet OK with you?

I dunno -- maybe you've ALREADY got all the responses you could want. But, as I saw none *here* in the tribe, maybe some of these answers would help you. The other thing, of course, is to solicit on tribes more-oriented toward working photographers...
